Now That's Our Kind of Customer Service!

One can always hope in running a business that they've backed themselves with a team of strong and capable individuals.  Our hope often turns to pride...we will often receive wonderful feedback from our many clients simply raving about their experiences in large part due to their driver's friendly and accommodating nature.
Most recently I received a kind message from a returning Whistler client regarding her trip and as I heard her story unfold an even larger smile than normal crept over my face.  I was beaming with pride in my team!

We had scheduled one of our drivers for a Whistler trip a few weeks ago and he recognized the name.  It was someone he had driven last winter season and he had remembered that this particular client loved Doritos chips and bought them by the box here as she couldn't get them back home.

Rather than holding a sign reading her name for his meet & greet at the airport, our driver simply stood there with a bag of Doritos chips in plain view for her to see.  It was a happy reunion for the two...her Vancouver and Whistler travels were off to a great start.  She followed up later with a great photo of the two in Whistler.
Sometimes the simplest of things can mean the most.

Now that's our kind of customer service!

Our Stanley Cup Encounter!

We were in the presence of greatness a few weeks ago...

The Stanley Cup, also known as The Holy Grail, Lord Stanley's Cup, The Cup and Lord Stanley's Mug took a ride with Luxury Transport Inc. and we couldn't have been more honoured.

It was our greatest pleasure to be of service to Mr. Cam Neely, a previous Vancouver Canuck and Boston Bruin, and acting President of the Boston Bruins, as he visited various Vancouver landmarks with his family and precious Cup in hand.

A few fun tid-bits about Lord Stanley's Cup...
The current Stanley Cup, topped with a copy of the original bowl, is made of silver and nickel alloy.
It has the names of all winning players, coaches, management and club staff engraved on its chalice.
It was awarded for the first time in 1893 as the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup and then in 1926 became the official championship trophy of the NHL with 94 Cup wins since the 1914-15 season.
There were only two years that the Cup was not awarded: 1919 because of the Spanish Flu and 2005 because of the NHL lockout.

Osoyoos Golf & Wine Trip!

It was a 6:00am start, after dropping the little ones off with Nana & Poppa for their own Whistler weekend adventure, and off we went toward Fairview Mountain in Osoyoos for our 11am tee off.

One of the best courses in BC...beautiful, hilly and fun vertical drops, greens are very undulated, with great views and a nice resort/desert feel to it. Fabulous!

And before following up each afternoon with sun and beach time, we visited, researched and tasted the finest in Osoyoos' local and lovely wineries. Our favourites of the trip included Hester Creek, Burrowing Owl, Desert Hills, Black Hills and the hidden but quaint Fairview Cellars that can be seen through the trees on the first green/second tee box of the Fairview Mountain Golf Course.
We arrived home with wonderful memories and an impressive assortment of fabulous wines for our collection.

Tempted? Customize your own trip with us!
Let us accommodate your own itinerary or we'd be happy to customize one for you.

Canada Day approaches, and yes, I will cry at the parade!

It's Canada Day 2011 and planning for the many festivities and parades is in full swing!

Choices are in abundance of places to join in the celebration, including...
Canada Place Parade and Festivities
Granville Island Parade and Festivities
Steveston Salmon Festival and Parade
North Van's Waterfront Park Party and Parade
and so many more!

Parades are those wonderful events that bring out cheering crowds and smiling faces, and for me they bring out the tears! It's embarrassing, I know, but I get so overwhelmed with emotion and excitement for my children...watching their faces as they take in the many sights, colours, sounds, and hearing their little high-pitched cheers that it just gets me every single time.

Get out there, celebrate, enjoy, and show your colours for Canada Day! Oh yah, and if you're anything like me, bring some kleenex! :)

Ever thought of a Canada Day parade and festivities tour? We can travel around to the many Canada Day parades and festivities around town so you can take it all in and then some!

Our Top 4 Tours!

Here are our TOP FOUR Vancouver tours, transfers & sightseeing...

1. Vancouver City Tour
Drive through Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Downtown Vancouver shopping (Robson Street), Granville Island (great spot for lunch), or Queen Elizabeth Park (also a great luncheon spot), explore Gas Town and China Town.

2. Langley Wine Tour
Tempt your taste buds with an amazing tour of the Langley wineries. Begin with Township 7 Vineyards, to Glenugie Winery, The Forte Wine Company, and all impressive tour and lunch at Domaine de Chamberton. This one is also great as a Harrison Hot Springs overnighter because then it's on to Lotusland Vineyard and Mount Lehman Winery before reaching your final hot springs destination. Yah, I know...WOW!

3. Osoyoos and Vancouver Golf Trip
We do trips like this every summer season and people truly love it. This one includes Vancouver golf transfers as well as a trip to Osoyoos and is so worth it!
Begin in Vancouver at one of our local public courses followed by a road trip to Osoyoos to play Fairview Mountain, a perennial 'must play' pick by Golf Digest.
On a smaller scale, we can simply provide your group's roundtrip transfers for your local Vancouver golf game, or we're a great option for that tucked away Furry Creek.

4. Whistler Sightseeing Daytrip
We'll take you on a Sea-to-Sky highway adventure for the day! Enjoy some breathtaking viewpoints along the way, take in the wonderous site of Shannon Falls and discover Britannia Beach and the Britannia Beach Mine Museum before continuing on to Whistler Village for a late lunch, shopping, dinner and a relaxing return home. Hopefully we'll catch a brilliant sunset sky over the coastal mountains on route!

Take your pick of smaller SUV's, Sprinter Vans, Limo-style minibuses or shuttle buses.

Can't decide on a tour? Let us bring you along for the ride. We offer custom Vancouver sightseeing and city tours! We can build a day of sightseeing in Vancouver for you and show you what this beautiful west coast city has to offer with our unique Vancouver tours and sightseeing.
